וְר֣וּחַ לָבְשָׁ֗ה אֶת־עֲמָשַׂי֮ רֹ֣אשׁ השלושים [הַשָּׁלִישִׁים֒] לְךָ֤ דָוִיד֙ וְעִמְּךָ֣ בֶן־יִשַׁ֔י שָׁל֨וֹם ׀ שָׁל֜וֹם לְךָ֗ וְשָׁלוֹם֙ לְעֹ֣זְרֶ֔ךָ כִּ֥י עֲזָרְךָ֖ אֱלֹהֶ֑יךָ וַיְקַבְּלֵ֣ם דָּוִ֔יד וַֽיִּתְּנֵ֖ם בְּרָאשֵׁ֥י הַגְּדֽוּד׃ (פ)
Quindi lo spirito rivestì Amasai, che era il capo dei capitani: tu sei David, e dalla tua parte, figlio di Iesse; Pace, pace sia a te, e pace sia ai tuoi aiutanti; Poiché il tuo Dio ti aiuta. Quindi David li ha ricevuti e li ha resi capitani della band.
